2024 Accepted Insurance

Please bring your current medical insurance card with you to your first appointment,

and continue to update us whenever your coverage changes in any way.

Keep in mind, estimates are just estimates and may not accurately reflect what your insurance company pays. Ultimately, we cannot guarantee payment by your insurance company, and you are responsible for any charges incurred. We encourage you to contact your insurance company to educate yourself on your particular plan and benefits.

In light of the difficulties encountered by small businesses such as ours in managing multiple insurance providers, we have opted to simplify our list of accepted insurances. Although this decision was made thoughtfully, it enables us to concentrate on providing top-notch medical care without continual struggles with insurance companies. We will now be affiliated with six primary insurance companies. Additionally, you have the option to be a cash-paying patient and submit your claims directly to your insurance.

How to check your benefits

If you’d like to find out if your insurance company will cover naturopathic or chiropractic medical services, here are a few things you can do:

Review your policy

Sometimes your health plan documents will specifically say if naturopathic or chiropractic medicine is covered.

If you have an HMO plan you may be limited to seeing providers who work for that company (for example Kaiser). In most cases these plans will not be covered.

Call your insurance company

To check your insurance benefits, call the customer service number on the back of your insurance card. Ask for benefits/eligibility. Tell the phone representative you’re calling to check on your personal insurance benefits.

Why is Dr. Meg not accepting insurance?

Dr. Meg will no longer be accepting insurance for her services. Instead, she will transition to being a strictly cash-pay provider. We understand that this may present an inconvenience for some of you, and we sincerely apologize for any disruption this may cause.

This decision was made to better support and value our providers, ensuring they can continue delivering the highest quality of service to all patients. Dr. Meg is dedicated to providing highly individualized care that seamlessly integrates standard of care with traditional western and eastern medicines. Her approach to helping patients reach their health goals is truly unique, and the time and energy she spends on caring for each patient far exceeds what insurance companies are willing to compensate based on their one-size-fits-all healthcare model.

In order for Dr. Meg to maintain her style of practice and quality service without the constraints of insurance policies, we believe transitioning to a cash-pay model is the most reasonable way to create a win-win situation for both the provider and the patients.

We understand that affordability is a concern, and we assure you that we are committed to offering competitive prices and financing options to ensure that Dr. Meg’s services are accessible to as many patients as possible. In addition, we will provide you with a superbill after each visit and do our best to assist you in submitting the claims to your insurance companies. We strive to provide you with exceptional care while maintaining transparency and fairness in pricing.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we work hard to enhance our services and support Dr. Meg’s highly specialized approach to patient care. If you have any questions or concerns about this change, please contact our office.
